A short blog to finish off this year as I’m going to be busy over the next couple of weeks helping ensure some of senior citizens get into the Christmas spirit and aren’t left lonely.
2019 has been a musically great year and I’ve had a real blast playing, watching some other great musicians ‘at work’ and generally being part of the musical fraternity. My previous 2019 blogs say it all!
Thanks for booking me, buying me, streaming me, watching me, supporting and helping me. You just go to prove that against the backdrop of what has from a political perspective been an awful year there are some ‘real people’ out there.
I’ve been a bit quiet on line generally as I’ve tried to stay out of the commentary on this year’s political ‘shenanigans’. From everything I saw and read I was left feeling sad at the bile, vitriol, lies and fakery. We are human beings and capable of better frankly! Nuff said.
Returning to the music I’m really looking forward sharing with you some new music I’m currently in the process of recording with the help of some amazing musicians and getting to play the new stuff live.
As someone who works in an environment that uses performing arts as a therapy I know music has the power to heal and bring people together … never has it been more relevant. So in 2020 I’m going to be doing ‘my thing’ to promote compassion and positivity and try to be a ‘real’ human being.
Have a peace filled Christmas and a New Year full of hope. See you on the other side.
